Volunteers are a key part of the success of any event and the Bull Moon 5K on Saturday July 19 is no exception.
If you wish to support this event and the fight against MS and ALS, please consider becoming a volunteer.
The volunteer roles available are:
Advanced Check-In (2 volunteers needed)
- Time – Friday July 18th from 4-7 pm at Fleet Feet (probably Ninth Street in Durham?)
- Duties – Provide bib and shirt to race participants and accept new registrations
Race Day Check-In (5 volunteers needed)
- Time – 4:30 pm
- Duties – Provide bib and shirt to race participants and accept new registrations
ID Check (2 volunteers needed)
- Time – 4:30 pm
- Duties – Check ID and issue wrist band
Course Monitor - (Age 21+) (15 volunteers needed)
- Time – 6:00 pm
- Duties – Monitor and control vehicle access to the course during the running of the 5K
Water Station (5 volunteers needed)
- Time – 6:30 pm
- Duties – Setup/take down water station and provide water to runners while on course.
Beer Server (3 volunteers needed)
- Time – 7:00 pm
- Duties - Assist beer provider with the distribution of the beer to participants
Food Server (3 volunteers needed)
- Time – 7:00 pm
- Duties - Assist caterer with the distribution of the food to participants
